   Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology established in the year 2000 by the eminent Industrialist and Philanthropist, Thiru. T. S. R. Khannaiyann. The College is situated on Coimbatore – Pollachi Main Road (NH – 209) and is about 15 km from Coimbatore Railway Station. Since its inception the college offers quality education in the field of engineering and technology. This College is approved by All India Council of Technical Education and Approved by Anna University.   The department is established in the year 2009. The mission of the department is to prepare graduates with professional and ethical responsibilities in relation to public and private organization, to produce graduates who are all well grounded in scientifically and technical knowledge with excellent ​communication skills, and to prepare them for a career path toward leadership in industry, government and academic the department has well experienced and dedicated faculty members and is equipped with state of the art of laboratories.
